The Beyond Digits project is an Erasmus+ initiative implemented over 24 months by a consortium of seven organisations working across six European countries. The project aims to support neurodivergent adults in the crucial area of financial literacy and improve the competences of educators working with them.
Tools
The Beyond Digits project will develop several digital and offline tools to promote financial literacy:
3D Learning Game
A 3D game to assist neurodivergent adults in learning basic concepts about economy and finances. Users will manage a virtual household and make critical financial decisions.
Mobile Application
A mobile app that empowers neurodivergent adults to plan and monitor their expenditures with ease, ensuring a clear understanding of where their money is going.
Training Toolkit for Users
A comprehensive training toolkit including accessible materials for neurodivergent adults and a manual on using Beyond Digits digital tools.
Training Toolkit for Professionals
A complete training toolkit for professionals and educators of neurodivergent adults on using these Beyond Digits digital tools and game-based learning principles. This toolkit includes an Accessibility Scheme that will guide professionals in the development of learning materials accessible for all adults.
Project Implementation
Along the development of the project, partners will organise training activities and pilot sessions to evaluate the materials. The feedback from these activities will identify areas for further improvements of the materials.
All project results will be available on the project website as they are released to the public.
